We specialise in undertaking your EDT program and can even act as your sponsor in between the EDT program to ensure, completion to a satisfactory level, building both confidence and competence, along the way.

This course of driving lessons consists of 12 specific lessons, under the guidance of Colin Bell, RSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) where each lesson is recorded in an official RSA logbook and must be signed off by a registered and approved instructor.

On your first EDT lesson you’ll receive a complete information booklet along with your EDT logbook.

Your first lesson can be commenced and undertaken when you wish, you simply book a further driving lesson or lessons upon conclusion of the first lesson, so no long-term commitment is necessary, you may also book in 1 or 2-hour slots. At Bell School of Motoring we offer “a full one hour” lesson, unlike some other driving schools who offer a 45 minute lesson?
 
Pre-Test Lessons
Whether you are a complete beginner or about to take your driving test, specific driving lessons can be tailored to suit your exact needs. We offer all our clients the same professional service, throughout Dublin 3, 5, 7, 9 11, 13, 15, 17 and surrounding areas. We operate from the North Dublin test centres of Finglas and Raheny
 
Driving Test Car Hire
Having taken driving lessons with us, we can supply you with a modern tuition vehicle (car) for your driving test, pre-bookings are required, and terms and conditions apply.

In this video, the Essential Driver Training programme, known as EDT, is covered in more detail. The ultimate aim of EDT is to keep young drivers safe on Irish roads by working with them to become competent, confident and skilled drivers.

The video will outline the different components of EDT, including the role of the ADI and how to find one, as well as how to choose a Sponsor, the person chosen by you to support you as you learn to drive.

The video also shows what happens in your first EDT lesson as well as the preparation required beforehand. It will outline the purpose of the logbook and how it is used, what each of the 12 lessons will cover and how the learner driver uses self analysis to identify what needs to be practiced with their Sponsor between lessons.
